The central screen shows :

- The playback mode in progress : Music, CD, DVD, Video, Radio, TV,
- The compression ratio (bitrate) of the music (radio, TV, video) which is listening, it is a factor of the quality of the recording,
- The timer (with two possible counters),
- The symbol play, pause, fast forward or rewind depending on the current status,
- A flashing red point recalls that a recording is in progress,
- According to the playback mode :
     - Radio : the name of the radio, the album title, the music title,
     - Musics/songs and CD : the name of the artist, the album title, the music title,
     - Video : the video title,
     - TV : the name of the TV, the program name (if possible).
